Woohoo! I edited one of my favorite movies to one of my favorite bands! All of the sleeping beauty clips came from YouTube, as well as the featured song by Crystal Castles called Leni. I did NOT like using Canva for video editing, it was extremely limiting and was hard to use. I am used to editing on Adobe premiere or Sony Vegas Pro, so using a primitive software was quite the task. The video was not as tight as I’d like it to be.

  1. This is so cool, I love old Disney movies the animation is so pretty and expressive! Also I totally relate to you not really liking Canva, I feel like it is definitely easy to navigate but as someone who has used Adobe Premiere Pro too, nothing beats it because you have so many more options.

  2. Love this cut! It makes it seem like Sleeping Beauty is an action packed film. Would love to see this taken to the next level where the text on the screen attempts to convey some of that narrative reframe as well.

  3. I like your website! It makes me laugh with all the fish gifs. You did a great job editing your video. I love Sleeping Beauty too. I like how all the backgrounds in the movie look like paintings.

  4. Wow I loved your video! You said you weren’t as happy as you’d be if you made it out of Canva but it looks so good. I could definitely imagine this as a teaser for an action Sleeping Beauty.
